Mental Health Levels of Care We Treat

Crisis Management

Marietta Springs works with established psychiatric hospitals to help patients who need immediate care for acute mental health emergencies before starting outpatient treatment. Our admissions team works with established psychiatric facilities to arrange your care when you need 24-hour medical supervision and emergency psychiatric services. Our team stays in touch with you throughout your hospital stay to create a seamless transition into our programs when your medical condition becomes stable enough for outpatient treatment. Upon medical clearance and psychiatric stabilization, our team conducts comprehensive evaluations to determine your mental health needs. The evaluation process assesses your mental health background, together with active symptoms, substance use problems, traumatic events, and social relationships, to find the most appropriate level of outpatient care. The integration of crisis intervention with ongoing treatment establishes a unified system that provides continuous recovery support from the outset of your care.

Partial Hospitalization Program

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Marietta Springs provides the most intensive outpatient mental health services through 30 hours of weekly clinical programming for individuals with severe mental health symptoms that interfere with their daily activities. The PHP operates from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM on weekdays from Monday through Saturday to provide an immersive therapeutic atmosphere which supports your mental health recovery while keeping you connected to your family and home base. The level of care provides treatment for patients who need to leave inpatient psychiatric facilities or show acute symptoms that require less than 24-hour monitoring and more support than standard outpatient therapy provides. Our mental health PHP delivers evidence-based individual therapy and specialized group sessions, psychiatric care, psychoeducation, and skill-building activities to treat severe depression and anxiety disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other complex mental health conditions. The daily structure enables people to create regular habits which helps them develop coping strategies and emotional control abilities needed for enduring stability.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program delivers 9-15 hours of weekly clinical programming which provides intensive therapeutic support through a schedule that enables you to work, attend school, or care for your family. The program provides treatment sessions at two different times, which run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the evening to suit various schedules. This level of care is perfect for individuals who need more than weekly therapy but don’t require the daily structure of PHP, including those transitioning from higher levels of care or beginning their mental health treatment journey. IOP provides treatment for multiple mental health disorders through group therapy sessions, individual counseling, psychiatric care, and psychoeducational programs. The program teaches you functional skills to handle symptoms, enhance relationships, and develop resilience, which you can use in actual situations. The combination of intensive support with daily life integration allows you to try various coping methods while developing boundary skills and self-assurance through ongoing clinical assistance. Our team of experts tracks your treatment progress to make necessary adjustments for delivering proper care from start to finish of your recovery process.

Virtual Mental Health Care

The virtual treatment at Marietta Springs provides complete mental health care services to all patients, regardless of their location or time constraints. Our virtual mental health programs provide evidence-based interventions and professional support through secure HIPAA-compliant platforms, which offer the same quality as our in-person services. The virtual programs provide professional mental health services to people who experience social anxiety when meeting in person, live far away, or need treatment from their own home. Our organization provides PHP, IOP, and outpatient services through virtual platforms, which maintain the exact clinical standards and therapeutic methods used in our traditional facility-based programs. Virtual care produces outstanding results for mental health treatment because patients experience greater comfort at home, which reduces their anxiety and enables them to express themselves more freely.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Levels of Care

How do I know which mental health level of care I need?

The required level of care depends on the severity of symptoms, daily activities, safety needs, and the availability of support networks. The complete evaluation process selects the most suitable entry point through these assessment criteria. The treatment process begins with PHP stabilization for most clients, who will later move to IOP and outpatient services. We will help you find the right level of support that corresponds to your present requirements.

Absolutely. Our treatment center specializes in co-occurring disorders because we recognize that mental health conditions and substance use problems create a shared effect on each other. All our programs address both conditions simultaneously through integrated treatment planning.

PHP programs operate differently from IOP programs because they provide distinct treatment durations and varying degrees of care intensity. PHP programs deliver more extensive care than IOP programs because patients must dedicate several hours each day to treatment at the center. The choice between PHP and IOP treatment depends on the severity of a patient’s condition and their individual needs. The PHP program at this facility operates from Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 2:45 PM for 30 hours per week to support clients who require daily intensive care. The IOP program provides 9 to 15 hours of weekly treatment, which includes both morning and evening time slots.

Most insurance plans provide coverage for mental health treatment at various levels of care. The insurance plans provide coverage for PHP, IOP, and outpatient services, but each plan has its own set of benefits. Our admissions team will check your insurance benefits and explain your coverage and all the costs you need to pay before starting treatment.

The length of treatment depends on the specific requirements of each patient, the extent of their condition, and how well they react to the treatment. The process of achieving full recovery requires several months for most clients, although some people start to notice positive changes within a few weeks. Our programs operate for 180 days across all care levels, while most clients achieve major progress during the 60-90 day period. We believe in providing sufficient time for sustainable change rather than rushing the recovery process.
